On the first day of the ag tour, we stopped at the Flying W Ranch in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This working Hereford ranch is also an agritourism attraction. On the Flying W Ranch, they had turkeys, sheep, pigs, horses and other ranch animals. They had a performance by Native Americans from Arizona to preform dances and sing songs. They also had a lady doing Navaho blanket weaving. For dinner we had a classic chuck wagon meal that included chicken, brisket, beans, potatoes, applesauce and all spice cake. After the filling dinner they had a performance by the Flying W Ranch Wranglers. They performed classic western songs telling the stories of the old west.
